Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Award programme?
An international programme that gives you the chance to develop, discover your strengths and set your own goals. You gain practical experience outside school and receive a valuable certificate for the future.
Who can participate?
Any young person aged between 14 and 24.
What activities do I do in the programme?
You will complete 4 (or 5) sections:
- Voluntary service

- Physical Recreation
- Adventurous Journey

Where do I do my activities?
You can receive support from the Award Leader or Coordinator at your Award Centre, but you are encouraged to find the best options for you in your community. It is a step towards your personal development.
As a foundation, we do not directly offer services or places where you can carry out each stage of the programme. The final choice is yours, with our support every step of the way.
How long does it last?
Depending on the level you choose, the activities take place over a minimum period of 6/12/18 months. For each activity, you will dedicate a minimum of 1 hour per week, i.e. an average of 3 hours per week.
How do I sign up?
Create an account on the Online Record Book and choose your activities. You will be assigned an Award Leader who will support you. You can find more details here.
Who will help me in the programme?
We believe that support in achieving your goals is essential to the Award programme. Therefore, throughout the programme you will be supported by an Award Leader – an adult trained to guide you.
